On Thursday 7 December, our Children and Young People team took a group of children and families to the Canal Side Moorings Peter Le Merchant trust for a trip on the Santa Sleigh boat.

Everyone on board was able to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing ride along the canal on the boat, which was transformed into a sleigh complete with a grotto and enjoy some tea and mince pies.

The cold wet day didn’t dampen spirits and the music therapy teacher on board had everyone singing.

With everyone dressed up for the occasion it added to the magic of seeing Santa with the children all excited about getting their presents.
