On Thursday 14^th July some of our young people joined us at Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre to participate in a high rope’s activity. This activity involved our young people putting on harnesses and helmets, making their way up to the top of the obstacle course and then completing the course. Our young people had to problem solve and think about the best way of getting around the course. It was great to have some positive encouragement from some parents/carers, volunteers and young people who were watching from the ground. Each young person supported one and other throughout the activity. This was a physical and mentally challenging activity in which every child achieving some huge outcomes. In order to get back to the ground our young people went on the power fan. This involved the young people being attached to a harness and then jumping off a platform which took them to bottom!

After this activity we sent out feedback forms. One young person said, “I really enjoyed it and would like to do more things like it in the future.”
